Job Function: Project manager, Project coordinator, Business and technical writer, Executive assistant, PowerPoint slide designer, technology researcher Description: We re looking for Project Manager for Digital Enterprise Services (IT department) to work in either our San Rafael or San Francisco offices to assist the IT Chief of Staff to provide business and technical writing for the creation and delivery of digital content for various IT & business projects, communications, and presentations. The Role: The DES Project Manager works for the Chief of Staff for Digital Enterprise Services (IT) to assist them to support client s CIO with supporting executive tasks. They will be responsible for preparing and reviewing executive communications, digital content for executive and technical presentations, business and technical articles, and other digital content. What you need to succeed: Here are the skills and experiences you will need to be successful in this role: Bachelor's degree, preferably in either Business, Marketing, English, Communications, or Computer Science 3-5+ years experience as a project manager, program manager, marketing specialist, business writer, technical writer Prior IT experience is required, and a candidate should be able to understand the IT Dept company role and scope Business written communication skills. Prior experience writing executive, stakeholder and/or project communication. Experience in creating and maintaining a project schedule Skillsets: Experience writing executive, stakeholder, and business content Prepare, proofread, edit content, streamline slide content Select and edit images. Ability to select images for a design that are appropriate for presentation topic (crop, recolor, resize etc) Integrating MSFT Excel graphs into presentations and ability to format them to match presentation design Work with XLS spreadsheets (pivot tables, financial formulas, sorting, filtering) Prepare executive communications and ability to convert technical information into the business-friendly language) Intermediate to advanced slide design and layout skills with executive presentations or projects and the ability to paint a story through pictures based on content provided Experience with Office O365 (Outlook, Excel, PPT, Word, O365 Teams, SharePoint) Intermediate to Advanced MSFT PowerPoint and SharePoint is preferred Intermediate design and artwork creation and experience with design software such as Adobe Photoshop to create graphics Attention to detail reviews all work before it is released Analytical skills, ask questions when clarity is needed Ability to work independently and as part of a team The candidate will have the following responsibilities: Assist the IT Chief of Staff to prepare CIO for executive meetings and presentations Prepare and review executive correspondence Create, drive and maintain priorities and calendar for tasks, events, articles, and projects Prepare drafts and review articles, presentations, and creative digital content Create Powerpoint presentations and creative digital content based on emails, blogs, and other sources of information Create and maintain document and content libraries Prepare outlines for presentations and technical and business articles and gather the content that is appropriate and prepares a draft Review and edit content for grammar, tone, and audience Prepare responses to inquiries to the office of the CIO requesting information on technical and business subjects Basic technology research to support presentation materials as required - provided by Dice
